Description
Roselle infused shrub (drinking vinegar)
A bright, tart, delightful ingredient to add to the season.
The roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is a vibrant plant with loads of flavor. The leaves make a delicious tangy green in salads, and the calyxes are used to make juices, teas, etc.
These roselles are homegrown on Piscataway land (Takoma Park, MD) by swamp hag founder, Linz L’Etoile.
Then harvested for shrubs and teas. The stems also make delicious pickles. Delightfully tart and delicious. We use the leftover scraps for dye.
Use your shrub in cocktails, mocktails, electrolyte beverages, dressings, etc
